Appointments

Appointments can be made in person, by ringing 01924 890729, or online (please ask the receptionist if you wish to register for online services).

The surgery runs a 10 minute appointment system and each appointment is for one person and one complaint only.  You will need to make a separate appointment if another member of the family needs to be seen or discussed.

We will endeavour to give you an appointment to see the GP within 48 hours.

Telephoning the Surgery

You may telephone the surgery to speak to the doctor or practice nurse during opening hours. If the person you wish to speak to is not available a message will be taken and a request made for a call-back as soon as possible after surgery. If your call is thought to be urgent you will be placed on hold until the relevant medical professional is consulted and a response will then be given to you.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with the practice nurse instead of the doctor. Our Practice nurse is qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Trainee Nurses and Medical Students

The doctor may from time to time be teaching a nurse or medical student in the surgery. If you prefer to see the doctor on his own please inform the receptionist.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible (preferably at least one hour before your appointment) in order for us to give the slot to someone else. We are a single-handed practice so appointments are precious.
